Self-Reflection on Australia’s “7C Education”

Abstract:
As the proposer of the 7C education philosophy, the author reviewed his early educational experience as a visiting scholar and a PhD candidate in an Australian university through educational reflection to explore the origin of the 7C educational theory. Through the words and deeds of his three supervisors, the author realized that Australian education from kindergarten to doctoral degree attaches great importance to cultivating seven basic qualities, including Confidence, Communication, Cooperation, Critical thinking, Computer and information technology skills, Cross-cultural competence, and Creativity.
